Tai Chi Class & Workshops

CJ's 2010 teaching schedule will include Germany, Europe, and Portland, Oregon.

Tai Chi (tie-Chee), short for Tai Chi Chuan or Taijiquan, is an ancient Chinese martial art, although many practice it for health purposes only. Tai Chi's slow moving, continuous choreography improves strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. It is an excellent low-impact cardio-vascular exercise. Tai Chi also encourages the flow of Qi for optimum health.

"Tai Chi captured me the first time I experienced it and I still enjoy creating new ways to define movement, enhance body awareness, and use imagery effectively."

—CJ McPhee
